EGENCO AND ESCOM BOARDS IMPRESSED WITH WORK ON KAPICHIRA UNIT 3 TRANSFORMER
On Friday 16th May 2025, Board Members and Management from the Electricity Generation Company (Malawi) Limited (EGENCO) and Electricity Supply Corporation of Malawi Limited (ESCOM) toured Kapichira Power Station to appreciate the successful replacement and commissioning of Kapichira Unit 3 Transformer.
Impressed with the work, the Board Members and Management commended the teams involved for their dedication and commitment.
The meeting further highlighted strong collaboration between ESCOM and EGENCO and reaffirmed both organization’s commitment to improving Malawi’s power supply and building a more reliable energy sector.
