Delano Ulanje
Acting Director of Finance
Delano Ulanje is a Finance Expert with extensive knowledge and experience in Financial Accounting and Reporting; Treasury Management; Revenue Management and Debt Collection; Management Accounting; Financial Management; Financial Analysis and Risk Management. He also has experience in Strategy formulation; Project Management; and Structuring and Negotiation of Power Purchase Agreements.
He has over 20 years work experience in the Electricity sector in Malawi. He was part of the team, which set up the Accounting department in EGENCO during its inception in 2017. Previous experience in the electricity sector was obtained in ESCOM.
Mr. Ulanje holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration (with Distinction) from the Norwich Business School, University of East Anglia, England, UK. He graduated from the University of Malawi with a Bachelors Degree in Accountancy, and also holds a level 7 Diploma in Consultancy.
He is a Chartered Management Accountant (ACMA); a Global Chartered Management Accountant (GCMA), having qualified with Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) UK; and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Malawi (ICAM).
