EGENCO IMPRESSED WITH TEDZANI PROJECTS

EGENCO is impressed with progress
made so far for the Tedzani III Upgrading projects at Tedzani Power Station.
This was revealed when the EGENCO Chief Executive Officer, William Liabunya
tour the project on Wednesday 9 January 2019.
The CEO said he was happy that the contractor is on schedule and is
likely going to deliver the project on the agreed dates. “am delighted that we
have made tremendous progress on this project and as agreed, the contractor
will likely deliver it on time. We are looking at February 2019 having the
machine back online” said the CEO.
Tedzani III project involves rehabilitation, modernization and Uprating
the machines to add 10MW (5MW on each of the two machine). Currently Tedzani
III produces 52.7MW. Once the project is completed, it will be producing
62.7MW.
